There is a volleyball team at school now! Yes, it's true, on Monday, April 5th, the Danger Daisies hit the net! It's so cool. We only had horseback riding, gymnastics, Spanish, drama, art, nurse assisting, and teacher assisting for electives. You have to take two. One sports, and one more academic. I used to take Spanish and gymnastics, but I switched out of gymnastics and started volleyball! You're allowed to take two sports though. Tryouts were on Monday. Here is the list:
Team Captain and First Server: Julie Albright
Second Server: Neela Sen
Third Server: Rebecca Rubin
Fourth Server:Gwen Thompson
Fifth Server: Ruthie Smithens
Sixth Server: Kaya Aton'My
Manager: Sonali Matthews
The only thing is, that I can't believe Kaya made the team-she actually does have good aim, but she is a better horse-rider. Well, it can't be too bad.
