I'm Bored by Rebecca

We were going to have a beginning of spring ball with CAKE (plus we were going to have it because our student teacher is leaving), but it was canceled for some stupid reason. So now I'm bored. And Sravana is supposed to be saving up for Kaya, and she has enough money, but she doesn't keep her room clean enough so she can't buy Sonali. Apparently we dolls clutter up her room. So why should she get another one? She says. But she promised herself she would get Kaya. So she'll get her sometime. Hey, I use "so" a lot, don't I? And after Sravana get's Kaya, she'll have to get her own camera, because her doll pictures clutter up the camera. Any ideas on how not to be bored and ideas on cleaning rooms that have a ton of dolls in them? Well, I have to go. I have to practice Moment Musical on the piano.

I was making valentines on a lovely Sunday afternoon.
My room was covered in fabric, ribbons, scissors, tissue paper, origami paper, and envelopes in shades of pink, purple, white, and red.
I started to draw a heart on a piece of fabric.
Next, I carefully sketched out a heart on tissue paper.
Then, I cut out my tissue paper heart.....
......and glued it onto the fabric heart!
After cutting out the fabric heart, I wrote, Neela Sen on the front of the envelope.
"Perfect," I said and thought.
But then Neela came into the room!
"Hey Sonal, what are you doing?"
I did not face Neela and I just said, "Um..nothing." Neela left.
I mailed my valentine.
And then I worked on my other ones.

As you can see, I don't have a picasa! It's probably because I'm not ready yet, I think. I don't really need one either, because I don't take that many pictures.

Post 43

It is post 43 day! Wow. Martin Luther King Day is coming up, we are getting new dresses, Gwen is here, and to top it off, pictures on the blog tomorrow! Srujana is singing some song, "Pathani Pathani", over and over, it is stuck in my head. Sonali's ready for spring, and at home, we are enjoying our three day weekend. Srujana is not buying any stuff, which is sad. She insists on making everything for us, which is bad because my only decent clothes now are a sweater, my peasant blouse, and jeans and sandals. Srujana just can't sew! We are also setting up Kaya's room. That's right, Kaya Aton My will be the next addition to the Academy!
